9th September 9.30am start

The Northern Institute is now able to announce the return of one of our most popular workshops: Kinesiology Taping (K-Taping) presented by our expert, Colin Pearson.

Kinesiology Taping is a relative newcomer (but very welcome) to our therapy but has proved itself very popular and successful with therapists, sports people and, increasingly, the general public, mainly through its high visability in events like TV soccer, the Tour de France, the Olympic Games and many other sports.

Eligibility & Suitability: for practitioners new to K-Taping and for ‘improvers’ who wish to revise and then progress onwards.

Attendance fee: £100 payable upon registration.  CPE certificate of attendance awarded upon completion.

COLIN will concentrate with the foot, leg and back and will include:
introduction (and revision) of basic techniques of K Taping
low back pain
hip tapings
neck and shoulder
foot and ankle and other tapings, all allowing for time and progress during the class.

* Help your patients overcome acute, painful and chronic conditions
This workshop is also a “must” for therapists who treat sports men and women and for anyone intending to concentrate on sports injury work in the future.
It will also count as a module for NIM’s 2017 Sports Massage course.

THE TUTOR: Colin is a very experienced practitioner and this includes Rugby League with Hull KR and other clubs in the Hull area. He presents his workshop in a cheerful and positive manner whilst taking every care to ensure students learn both the theory and practical techniques of K Taping.
